Dear Friends,
I have an old movie on a VHS cassette that I'd like to be able to play on my laptop. How do I copy it to a DVD? I tried to copy it but it appears to be copy-proof.
Regards to all from

Some vcr';s are sensitive to this others not, and some dvd recorders.
If this is a one off get a 'pro" to do it, say which state/city you are in so local membetrs could offer.
I'll do it if you are prepared to send me the vhs.PAL/NTSC problem solver.

Thanks for the info, fellows, and the offer to transfer the movie, but I was hoping to find a way to do it myself and will just let it go. I only have one movie I wanted to transfer and will get along with the video cassette.
Regards and thanks,
Jack
