    could someone please help me when i open a file in virtual dub a message appears saying :
    Couldn’t locate decompressor for format MP43 (Microsoft high speed MPEG4-V3)

    Virtual dub requires a video for windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. Direct Show codec’s such as those used by windows media player, are not suitable.

    PLEASE could someone tell me what to do.
    any help would be great thanx

    In the tools section (https://www.videohelp.com/tools?listall=1#Codecs), download the k-lite codec pack - that should have the MPEG4/DivX codec in it.
