Hello everyone. This is my first post but I've been using this awesome site as a resource and have been finally sucessful ripping and burning a basic DVD-R using smartripper and nero. However I've been trying to add an additional trailer onto my DVD while keeping the menu created on a stand alone unit. I'm trying to add an additional trailer to the already existing trailer on the disc using what I've ripped onto my HD. I've tried combining .vob files but no luck. Do I need to demux the .vob files into .m2v and .ac3, join them (not sure what program to use), and then remux them to re-edit in ifoedit? I've tried this and ended up pulling out my hair. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Each VOB file on a DVD maxes out at 1GB and thats the size they split at. If you add a video file to the first one which is 99.9% of the time 1Gb then this might cause problems.
Try TMPGEnc DVD Author. It will push back the video so each VOB file is valid and under 1GB.
