    Have the Panasonic DMR-E50, been using Memorex & TDK DVD-R's which I got on sale & have good results. My question is that I am using the SP speed 2 hours & it has played on any dvd player I have. If I want to use the longer 4 hour or 6 hour speeds will my same players recognize this or refuse to play.

    I only use flex-mode. I always add 3 minutes to the length of the movie so it doesn't go to the very edge. I never add any problems with the output.

    Maybe your player have trouble with playing half-D1 video ?
    Pinnacle Studio 8 and DV home video editing (ver.9 already home)
