    I downloaded a KVCD file. How do I convert this to VCD format to play on my player

  2. The "KVCD" file is probably still an MPEG file... one that is not within S/VCD specs.

    Your best bet is to author it as an XVCD (e.g., with Nero, VCDEasy, etc.)

    If your player can't handle the off-spec MPEG, then you will have to re-encode it to standard VCD/SVCD specs: https://www.videohelp.com/vcd and https://www.videohelp.com/svcd
