    i got a movie and a subtitle file but the problem is that when i play the movie, the subtitle is all weird letter cos i tink it is in chinese format..anyone knows how to amend the problems so that i can watch the movie with chinese subtitle and i need to encode it with the sub file too..thanz

    not enough information.

    What is the source? what are you converting it to?

    try www.dvd2svcd.org (dvd2svcd). It has a spot for making subtitles that might help you out and you may not need to reply with the additional information.
