  1. Hi,

i've just try to use a little bit this application and i have a question.
I want to make a dvd, i can play on my DVD player, with some of my TV shows i have on my computer.
When i try to import assets ( these EP), Encore always answer me two type of message:
-when i choose a PAL project "This project requieres MPEG video to be encoded as PAL"
-when i choose a NTSC project " this file is not suported"

Here are the informations of the file i try to import:
    704 x 480, 25fps, video/mpeg

What i have to do, to import this files?

    Thanks for your answer

    Benjamin

  4. Hmm seems weird, but unfortuantely I cannot help you as I dunno nothing about Adobe DVD *yet*, but I speak for everyone when I say... Let the program open to the media and let us learn how to use it before we post answers, I dont think we can expect professional answers when this came out like 2 weeks ago ...

    Give it time

With the video you have, you might get this kind of answer in lots of autoring apps: 704x480 (expect NTSC) with 25 fps (expect PAL) will confuse the hell out of it.

you're probably going to have to re-encode to a correct format 1st.

For full D1 resolution, make sure it's:
    704x480 or 720x480 @ 29.97fps for NTSC
    -or-
    704x576 or 720x576 @ 25fps for PAL

    HTH,
    Scott
