Hi,

Got this player 2 days ago and slight problem...

firstly i have verbatim discs, i write @ 24x with closed cd's.

Now i have svcd, vcd on these discs, they work perfect..

Next I have 3 avi files of friends episodes on 1 disc, they play fine, but when i try to play a full avi movie = disc error, ive probally tried it 50 times and 2 times it acutally played the movies, so is it the discs? is it the player? I also have the lastest firmware installed...is there anything I can do to fix this....

sounds like the disc is faulty if plays other discs ok, and this disc plays once in 10 tries. I use phillips cdrw and infiniti CDR which seem to work fine.

Its seems to be with all the avi discs though...so is it an avi burning issue maybe? i will try buring movies on other discs also...

you just burn any avi files to disc as a data disc. Nothing special needed. play the discs in your computer to check them.
