Hi all,
I am wondering if anybody knows when the External version of new Pioneer DVD burner will come to the market? thanks for your input.

I don't know about that but you could just put an internal drive in one of these external USB2 or firewire cases.

I have my Memorex DVD burner in a firewire case and it actually works better than when it was in the PC (Uses way less cpu now)

Thank you all. I know that I can use an enclosure to convert an internal device to an external one. However, I think I read somewhere where will be an external DVD burner by Pioneer, just do not remember when they are planning to release it to the market. Once again, I thank you for your inputs.
