I just started burning DVDs about 2 days ago, and so far have had success burning backups of 3 different movies, using a Pioneer A06U, DVD Decrypter, InstantCopy, and Memorex DVD-R's.
Right now I'm about to back up the Godfather, and the max % I can get for the Video Quality is 52%. Is that decent? I don't recall what I used on the first 3, I believe like 60, but with this one I can't get it any larger.
Is 52% going to be good quality (playing on a PS2) or is that too low? I'm gonna burn it to see but I was just wondering what most people deem as an acceptable percent.
Also, back to DVD Shrink, what does it do exactly?
Would I be able to use it before Instant Copy and retain a higher percent of the video quality??
Thanks!

Instant Copy, DVDShrink, DVD2one and DVD95Copy are transcoders. They decrease the size of MPEG files by removing certain parts of the video (long story short).
52% could be good or crap, we can't tell you. Get a DVD-RW disc and test it out.
