  1. I just started burning DVDs about 2 days ago, and so far have had success burning backups of 3 different movies, using a Pioneer A06U, DVD Decrypter, InstantCopy, and Memorex DVD-R's.

Right now I'm about to back up the Godfather, and the max % I can get for the Video Quality is 52%. Is that decent? I don't recall what I used on the first 3, I believe like 60, but with this one I can't get it any larger.

Is 52% going to be good quality (playing on a PS2) or is that too low? I'm gonna burn it to see but I was just wondering what most people deem as an acceptable percent.

Also, back to DVD Shrink, what does it do exactly?
Would I be able to use it before Instant Copy and retain a higher percent of the video quality??

    Thanks!
I started out in Mount Clemens as a DJ

Instant Copy, DVDShrink, DVD2one and DVD95Copy are transcoders. They decrease the size of MPEG files by removing certain parts of the video (long story short).

52% could be good or crap, we can't tell you. Get a DVD-RW disc and test it out.
