Have a bunch of different mpeg files that I would like to burn into SVCD format. Unfortunately, some of them are lower in volume than the others.
Have tried ripping the wav out and then normalizing all of them, and even tried through TMPGEnc and putting audio for all of them through to 100 %...no go, still low volume on some and high volume on others.
Anybody have any suggestions?

Sorry, forgot to say they were in mpeg 1 format, wanted to turn them into svcd and need to normalize the sound. Even if I leave them in vcd format, (mpeg 1), okay, has long as I can get the level of sound all the same for them.
But thank you poopyhead, I do have a bunch of mpeg2 that I want to burn, also differing in sound, will try DVD2AVI.
Cheers.
