  1. Hi all,

When I first started making backups I used DVDXCOPY, of course that created 2 disks for most movies I backed up.

Now along comes DVD Copy Express and the same movies would now fit on one DVD.

Is it possible to use the 2 backup DVD disks, running them through DVD decrypter to make one DVD using DVDXCOPY EXPRESS? I know DVDXCOPY EXPRESS won't let you recopy a dub.

Or should I just shove in the original DVD and use Copy Express to make a one disk backup?

Thanks to all who reply, I don't know if I will actually DO this, I 'd just like to know if anyone else has tried it.

  2. Trust me it's a whole lot less trouble (and a lot less time) to just make new backups with DVDx Xpress. You can do what you want but you will be pulling your hair out before it's over.

You don't have to have those mentioned B4 proggies, try DVDShrink v.2.3, it's free and works just as well if not better.

  4. Why would you even want to combine the two discs, when your results will be better -- and a great deal easier to achieve -- using the original DVD to backup to one disc?

That's what I thought! Just wanted to ask you gurus to see if someone had a 'better' idea.
