I used to love this forum, but lately it has been very very boring. All you see lately are the stupidest Newbie questions, asking how do i encode this downloaded avi. and then the audio messes up. and then it freezes and squares come out. and the screen turns black. awww im soooo sick of the stupid ass qustions, why can't they just figure it all out by experimenting. experimenting and practice is the best way. like me I have spent over 3 thousand hours doing this video shit and now i can encode any fu**ing thing. i mean please ok everything you need to know about has proably already been coverd, so just do a forum search and READ.

Like this newbie keeps PMing me and he double PMED me about i cant find the extra folder in TMPGEnc to unlock the template, and i ******* told his ass off, i mean if he cant do that what makes me think he wont want me to prepare the whole ******* template, and if theres an error what do i do theres no audio. na na **** you

I scoured this site and learned by trial and error as the tools matured.

I heard about the possibility of video on CD's 10 years ago, and thought it was amazing. I wanted it.

Then in the last 3 years I made my first VCD, followed quickly by my first SVCD. After 15 years, the dream of preserving memories in digital format had arrived.

Now, a year or so later, I convert family videos to DVD's, half asleep.

Now I use a handfull of programs to do various jobs. It all works, no problem. Video tape in, DVD out. Blah. Hand copies out to family members. Ho-hum.

Make a copy of a DVD? Easy. Yawn.

Soon I will need a new hobby. I wore this one out.
