  1. I am very naive in the workings of divx, dvds and any kind of conversion - but downloaded a dvdrip of 28days later using a bittorrent protocol. I have no dvd burner, but a purchased program called "DVD Copy Plus" which burns dvd files to a cdr. AFter downloading the 1.5 gig file (or files) I am unable to open them, read them or even identify them using AVIcodec. The download showed up as 2 seperate folders - the first CD1 and the second CD2, each with about 30 different files reading :
flix.28.days.later.cd1.r1 (through r30). When I attempt to open them I have an error pop-up reading "this .roo file is already in use. Any help would be greatly appreciated, in anything from simply converting it to an mpeg or information on how to burn the file.

those are compressed files. you need winrar to open them up.

What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?

  3. actually I downloaded winrar - thinking the same thing. Strangely - about half of the 30 icons in each folder became a winrar executable file, while the other half stayed the same. Whenever I try to unzip them - I get a message saying "no archives found". The message saying that the file is already in use is the strangest thing of all because it is not open in any program.

  4. sounds as if you may have installed a virus or trojan horse, especially if it is saying the files are in use. i would run a virus and spyware remover program just to be sure. i have gotten bit a couple times like that, goto install a program, it comes up with an error message, then the virus kicks in.
