    Run it through GSpot or MediaInfo and post the resulting information here (as a screenshot from GSpot, or cut and paste the text from MediaInfo's Tree View). Those will provide a lot more information about the video.

    It corrupt alright! The first 4 characters in an AVI file are always "RIFF"...the LIST chunk at position 000C in the hex dump usually exists at position 0058 (try HXD on a working AVI for comparision)

    Looks like something has clobbered the first 80 or so bytes in the file...as a WILD attempt at recovery, copy the first part from a working AVI (up to the LIST chunk) and append the LIST chunk onward from your corrupt file. If you're lucky one player might be able to read it, or try one of the various AVI fixer tools.

    Or it's encrypted in same way (as you suggested)...the BIN text just before the LIST section looks suspicious

    The file is corrupt as it does not have a valid AVI header.
    Remake the AVI from your original DVD.

  7. thank you to all, I'll try to fix the headers by myself and try to play it... I think it's recorded already encoded. I found some Chinese digital camera that can encrypt the video files on the fly. Here I found this:

    Mini Spy Digital Video Camera with Encryption Feature [CVHE-I11]:
    http://www.chinavasion.com/product_info.php/pName/mini-spy-digital-video-camera-with-e...ption-feature/

    But I can't found the drivers on the Internet to try to decrypt it if its made with this camera, but first I'll try with headers, maybe it's not encrypted.

    Please, if some has the digital camera like this to send the software or to give me the download link to test to decrypt it with this software.

  8. Try changing the first four characters to RIFF. Then change the BIN (in the first line) to AVI. The next problem will be the FourCC at 0x00000070 and 0x000000BC. Your file reads m!$#. Unless you have a decoder for that (or can figure out what the decoder it really is) you won't be able to read the data.

  9. did you try DivFix++

    if it's an avi it might help.
