has anyone used nero 6 to convert dvd9 to a dvd 5 yet as i did last night
and guess what its fantastic i ripped the dvd with decrypter the pointed nerovision express 2 to the ifo file and it checked the whole dvd
i ripped ghost with all scenes and audio nero decided for me that the main film was to be reduced to 80% and the extras to 50% 40mins reencode time and when i played the film in my standalone the quality was excellent even the extra scenes were still good
i will look at the result closer tonight as i did it b4 work this moring and ran out of time

    oh yes a link http://www.nero.com/en/631898241413125.html

Bleh. That program is disgusting. You have NO control over it, the sliders don't make any sense. Heaven forbid you don't like the defaults.

I have no idea if its quality is good (if you say it is, I believe you) but I can't use a program that is SOOOOO idiotized.

Well I know that it's sooooooooo hard to admit the software mfgrs actually may know more about how to configure thier program than we do but in most cases it's true. Get over it. ............ harrymj3[/quote]

I have a question for the NEROer's, is this v6.xx.xx all new. As to say you need to purchase the full version even if you have the latest v5.xx.xx on your machine. There has been a million updates to v5.xx.xx but if I am reading the site correctly, you need to purchase a new copy to get v6.xx.xx and no version of 5.xx.xx qualifies for a free upgrade only DEMO or BUY?
    Please tell me I'm wrong.
