    Ive got lots of svcd's and vcd's which i have burnt onto cd-r's, they will not play on this player, for the record im 100% sure it supports vcd and svcd, does anyone know wot is wrong? is it not able to read cd-r's?

    thats virtually the same player as your 119 man.
    try the multi region hack and switch off the macrovision,see if that helps.
    but,with past experience,it should play straight out of the box.
