As all of you who use Sonic's DVDit know, you can insert very nice pre-made buttons which act as single floating objects that can then be linked to movie clicks or sub menus. My question is, how can I make my own custom buttons in say, Photoshop 7. I've been having problems in that even if I create a button as a layer over a transparent background I can't get it to work in DVDit. If I save it as a PSD with layers intact, and then import the psd into the DVDit buttons pallete, only the backgound is imported. If I flatten it and save it as a JPG or whatever, the previously trasparent background becomes opaque I want to be able to create objects that are simply that. Not a circular button encased in a square document. I hope I am making sense here. Anyone have any ideas? I am not lacking in most Graphic programs so any suggestions would be appreciated immensely.
    Thanks

  3. In Photoshop, instead of "flattening" the image, I think you need to click on the "merge visible" action so that you end up with one layer that has the button on a transparent canvas. Then save as PSD and input to DVDit!

    Good luck
