I just encoded a home video yesterday using TMPGE to SVCD format, but now the film is "square" ???
I want the movies to fill a normal 4:3 television screen. is this because the svcd resolution is 480x480? it looks like shit
someone please help
thanks

when you play it back your dvd player it will stretch it out ..
see the svcd info on the left and you will see this is normal ..
if you use powerdvd or windvd on your pc - they will also stretch it out ..
