  1. I have finally worked out how to burn DVD's from AVI's a fairly straightforward method with the help of the guides , fantastic website full of info.. now my movies fit on the one DVD whereas before I was getting errors

Use TMPGenc to create the mpg file.
Mux (simple multiplex) the resulting Mpg file into the video and audio files respectively, reduce the Bitrate or Video Definition if required to fit the DVD -ensure you you change audio output to "mpa" extension...
import these two files into TMPgenc DVD Author
create the Video_TS and Audio_TS file
DVD Writing Window opens automatically at the end.
Follow the instructions to write to DVD.

I know this sounds fairly basic but now I am getting results and after using other Software that whilst was good didn't give much control eg Ulead DVD Movie Factory 2 and Sonic MyDVD.

  2. Not to ruin your moment of triumph, but I hope I've given you enough time to feel good about yourself. Many people have already achieved what you just did, and I'm one of them, not to mention the info you posted has been all over this forum before.........GOOD JOB THO!
