    From the Nero web site:
    -------
Ahead packs key new features into Nero 6 at the last moment!
Due to high demand, features originally slated for future versions have now been brought forward in time to add even more value to this already impressive suite. Stay tuned for the new web release, now scheduled for July 25th. Included will be "Special Project" Nero Recode!
    ------

I hope it is worth the extra wait. Looks like it will be a good product.

  2. I am really hoping for some type of AC3. If they do that I probably will go back to Nero to burn DVD's. Ulead Movie Factory does it but it missing Motion Buttons. Dvd Complete does not accept AC3 but used motion. Dvd Complete has messed up the new update so bad I won't go near it.

I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.

I read that the Nero 6 Ultra DVD authoring package always reencodes mpg2 files even if they are already in dvd format. I hope they fixed that. I would like the option to author DVDs using mpg2 files that I already have or I made in another program.

I was quite disappointed to see it costs $50 just to upgrade from version 5.5. That's a bit steep considering the features it adds are already on my system via other programs (MovieFactory, BeSweet, etc)...

Hey ctvideo, curious what you find wrong with the new DVD Complete? It appears much more stable than previous versions to me...?

  6. After following their discussion board, it seems that most people can't install the update or the program will not run. A person from Dazzle is making files available in private area for lots and lots of people. I am also very disapointed that there is still no AC3.
With more people having sophisticated equipment today it is a real pain to have to set the DVD player for non compliant audo.
