  1. I have ripped my DVD with DVDDecrypter and have the VOB files and the IFO file in one directory. I then supply DVDx with the IFO file and have it encode an MPEG2 video, but I can only get it to encode the first like 5 minutes or so of the movie. It recognizes the whole movie; the marker on the bar underneath the preview screen only gets to about the 5 minute mark in the movie, but I can jump to any part in the movie. I'm still pretty confused about all this. Please don't suggest using DVDx to go straight from DVD to MPEG2 because I have had no luck with that. I'm simplying wondering how I can get DVDx to encode more than just the first five minutes or so of the movie. Also, this 5.5 minute MPEG2 clip is 110MB, does that sound right? If so, I might consider dropping down to MPEG1 simply because it will take like 4 CD's for a DVD movie. Please don't say stuff about altering bitrates to decrease file sizes and stuff like that. I'm still really new, and I have been really frustrated with all of this the last few days, and I'm just trying to keep it simple.

    Thanks
