Newbie StaxRip problems

Hi there. It's my first post so I thought I should start here!

I just installed StaxRip and followed the instructions given in the online tutorials. I clicked on 'Source Files', selected Single or Merge and selected all the vob files needed for the rip.

Then the problem hit. No StaxRip Log window appeared and the whole thing disappeared from my desktop! It doesn't seem to be working in the background (I did try ctrl+alt+delete to see what was running and nothing was there) and two files have appeared in the source vob folder, an empty folder titled 'VTS_01_1 temp files' and a RIP file titled 'crash.rip'.

Have I missed installing something or perhaps not done something correctly during setup?

Any help would be much appreciated.

StaxRip doesn't "rip", it converts. What program did you rip the disc with?

Yeah I know it's a converter. The DVD was ripped with dvd shrink. That shouldn't be the problem though, surely? Seems odd the the whole program seems to shut down when I select the vob files from my hard drive!

I sorted the problem. Just got rid and downloaded from another mirror. Works fine now!
