I just authored my first DVD using Ulead DVD to create the folder and then used NERO to burn the dvd.

After burning i discovered that my standalone players (Apex, Sanyo) did not play my dvd; however, my PS2 and XBOX did play the dvd-r i created.

I have a feeling it is something very simple that i can edit but i have absolutely no idea where to begin.

Im probably not providing the corrent information for help but if anyone can try to begin to help me, i would appreciate it.

Use Ulead DVD to burn the DVD as well...it is very compatible.

Nero has problems with some players.

Well i can tell you this, WHen ive created my own VCDS i have always need to UNCHECK 'Create Standard Compliant CD' and 'Use CDi Application' in order for them to work on all my players 100% of the time.

BUt with making this dvd, there was no Standard compliance or format to check/uncheck..........The dvd i created was also one without a menu, i set it up to just play with no menus.....is there somplace i can edit or something?

Making SVCDs i always have to make sure that the CUE does not include the line "FLAGS, etc" in order to make the movie work on my standalones(Sanyo).

I am entering the dvd realm with vcd/svcd experience only so please excuse me. I have burned other dvd-rs that work perfectly fine on my standalones (not my own authoring) so i know there is something i can do to make MY creations work....
