Captured a movie...but sound is out of sycn......help please

Well i captured it....DivX 3,600 file size...well the picture is perty good im satisfied..but my sound is out of sync a little like 1 or 2 seconds off....i try runnin Vdub to sync using that interleaving option...i get in sync but when i move onto some other frame say half ways it looses sync again and if i fix it der again and go back a few frames it out again...i don't understand if some one could help me out....any help would be very much apreciated Thanks.

This is a typical problem if you capture from VHS or analogue sources with interupts!

There is not a really cure for this. Read why this is happening, from the authors of virtualvcr here: http://www.digtv.ws/html/virtualvcr/sync.php

Overall, it help to capture to mjpeg codex or huffyuv and use PCM audio.
