I have a Schnieder 857 DVD player and I was directed to this site by a friend as he had found a hack that made the player any region and also disabled the macrovision. On the page there were numerous reports from other users with this machine saying that the hack worked and how wonderful it was. I tried it but, as I only have Region 2 discs (what the player was originally set for) I cannot try out this aspect but the macrovision protection still seems to be there. I had connected, via scarts, the DVD player to my VHS video and the interference was still there. I tried thre hack 2 or 3 times but stil no success.......has anyone any other ideas or what am I doing wrong??![]()
