    Since I installed Nero, whenever I start my computer, XP automatically opens the Nero folder.

    I have tried in vain to look for any shortcut in all the startup folders but could not find it. The problems disappears when I remove the software from my HD.

    Anybody else has the same problem? Any Idea has to how to stop XP from opening the shortcut at startup ?

    I don't know what you did, but Nero shouldn't open at startup. Try reinstalling Nero to see what happens. You cant type "msconfig" in the start run comand. Then look into the startup tab to see if Nero folder is in there. If it is, Just deselect it and reboot.
    Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

    Thanks racer-x but no luck.
    I did try msconfig. I found a Nerocheck.exe in system 32, which I deleted. No change. I deinstalled Nero and re-installed it. After selecting iuser, XP strats and then automatically opens the Nero folder !!!!!!!
