I've done it before without any problems (about 1 1/2 years ago)
I made a slideshow with audio and photos using windows movie maker, saved it to my computer (DV-AVI) then I opened up Nero 6, clicked on "dvd" "photos and videos" "make your own dvd video" clicked on "add video files" and tried burning it and I get an error message. Don't understand why because i've done the same exact thing in the past and it worked.
Here's part of the error log, if anyone can give me some assistance I truly would appreciate it!

What error message(s) are you receiving? Your log excerpt doesn't really show any problems, offhand.
You might try running your DV-AVI through something like AVS2DVD, then burning with Imgburn. Nero will likely want to re-encode your video in the process (so will other programs; it's not DVD-Video compatible, after all), but I've seen problems pop up during Nero's attempts to re-encode quite a few times.Last edited by Ai Haibara; 25th Mar 2011 at 20:14.
If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them? -
I was getting a calibration error, so after a bit of research on the net, i read to disable IMAPI CD burning in administrative tools but that didn't help though from what I read that helped a lot of people. I also tried cleaning the drive, to no avail. I finally tried something so simple, used a different brand of dvd's and it finally burned. The memorex dvds are crap, not one worked! Thank you so much for your response!
