I'm a beginner, so my question is very basic, but I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out

in order to use Besweet, I only need Besweet and besweet GUI?

I went through the walk thr introduction here and the guides at its homepage. But I found that my problem is not stated, i.e. I can't see the whole screen when I open the GUI. the right part of it including the Erase,Exit etc, the important buttons, are not shown.
Am I missing some so called plugins that I need to download and put in the same extracted folder too?
