I just got a new system together, an AMD 2500XP. An 1.83ghz speed CPU, which I have effortlessly overclocked to 2.2Ghz since the motherboard removed the multiplier lock.
Play video games, surf web, chat, no problems at all. Yet I keep getting this error message. I can hit ok and have it continue, but this prevents me from running it unattended. This happens with both DVDs or AVI Files.
Any ideas?

It is a known bug with CCE,when it switch from the first pass to the secund (or third or...).
There is a patch to over come this problem (the cce will not check the checksum)
You should look for cce and patcher or checksum in this forum as well as doom9's forum,if you don't find it PM me with your e-mail and I'll send it to you.

p.s. my file solution is for cce 2.5 or 2.62 only 8) -
Well im using 2.50.1.....and
it appears to be a problem with the overclock. Just set it back to 1.83ghz and it ripped just fine without an error. I will attempt to find 2.62 version, I really do like the speed of 2.2Ghz over 1.8, or maybe I should tinker with voltage a bit. -
Ok, now its happening when it isnt overclocked.
I found some patcher program off some Denmark (.DE) site. Its pretty small, like 18k uncompressed. That it?
