    ## Component Manager: attempting to find symbols in a component alias of type (regR/carP/x!bt)

    Am I missing something?
Also, it takes 3 to 4 minutes after I select a file to open?

This is a normal output message, not an error message. Use "Preview" to see if something is actually being encoded.

It should not, though the file is scanned for information when you open it. Probably your file is extremely big, or has some specific problem. If you write the file path manually in the input field, it will not be scanned.

  3. compatible with iMovie 3

Are there known issues with “.mov” files produced with iMovies 3.0.3 in regards to ffmpeg using those mov files to produce SVCD?

The reason I ask is that ffmpeg starts to make the movie and leaves behind a m2v file but it quits. I have watched it in the preview, but never to completion.

  4. AppleScript Error

This my first day using ffmpeg(v0.0.7d)
    It shows the message,

    AppleScript Error
    Can't get test item 2 of '/Volumes/big240/avi/Sequence 1.mov. (-1728)
(my file name in my HD)

    while I encode it.

    Is there anything I lost?

    Thanks for any help!!!!! [/b]
