    I was looking at the forum regarding a problem I had with the menu feature. i.e black screen (same as dave h. on June 18th). If I pressed play, first film played, and down + play second film played, but no menu picture.
    As instucted I updated, now have version 1.0.1265.28718. Excited that this would rectify the prob, was somewhat disappointed when the same thing arose yet again when I tried another 2 films to one DVD,(tried both pal and NTSC to no avail).
    any recommendations?

    Thanx for an awesome piece of programming ChrissyBoy.

  2. Just spoke to CB on msn...I'm still having probs as well...

    What DVD player have you got out of interest... I've got a "H & B DVD-5415S"

    I'm getting the menu background + boxes...just no text in them...

    i'm getting friends to test on theirs to see if there's any more they don't work on....

    but big thanks.. to CB as it works on a few friends standalones..and they're well chuffed... i'm mega happy as well..as 90% of the menu works...and it doesn't take anything away from the superb converting from svcd2dvd achieved by this program!

    I've got a Sony DVP-905V DVD player, don't even get a picture on this, just the sony intro screen, but still works with films fine by pressing play, or down play.
    Same result on PC aswell, using WinDVD 4 on that...

    smig44: if you are having blanks on windvd then that is worrying. If you use say Badger #1 PAL, what size is the menu.mpg file left in there after you create a menu (no need to do the conversion - just "make Menu")?
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
