I got a question about MF2...
I ripped a DVD using CladDVD.Net and Frameserved with the included DVD2AVI. So far so good.
Converted with TMPEGEnc - all good
When I add the video clip in MF2, the file size is 1013 MB!! The file is only 701 MB big when I click on properties - verified with Vdub's- file information option.
So question is:
1) Why is MF2 showing a different file size than actual? How do I fix it?
I noticed when I converted with TMPEGEnc that the audio was really quiet and a lot of background noise. So, in 'other settings' I clicked on the audio tab, resampled the audio to 48000Khz and normalized, this solved that problem. Could this be why MF2 is reading the file as larger than it is?
2) If so, how can I keep the audio at 41000khz, but have normal volume audio with the movie, without the background noise?
If you guys could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

By the sounds of it the program is working perfectly, but outputting the audio as a LPCM stream! You can do the normalising, and whack it up to 48KB, but make sure you have it set as a MP2 or AC3 stream!
Was just wondering, on DVD Movie Facotry 2.10, is it normal to not be able to move the menu thumbnails when creating the menu, so they don;t obsucre part of the background? Just I don;t seem to be able to for some reason, and I could in version 1.0! -
