I'm working on a different way to get me captured dv to dvd. So, I'm captuing with Pinnacle Studio 7 and then either encoding it with MainConcepts Encoder or tmpgenc. From there I use the 'Import Asset' in DVD Lab to get my video into it. DVD Lab then says to Demux the audio...and I let it do that. Once it's finished it shows the audio at the bottom, like it does the video, but the audio says PCM ?
It's showing like an error of some kind and then there is no audio on the video clip.
I've used DVD Lab on recorded video from Power VCR and this works fine.
Any suggestions why when I'm using video from my Digital Camcorder I'm having this problem?
And if there is a better way to do this from the camera to the dvd...my ears are open![]()
Thanks!

MainConcept does not produce DVD compliant PCM files -- I can't say about TMPGEnc.
What I would do if I were you would be to use MainConcept and output your video and audio to elemental streams. This will give you a .m2v file and a .WAV file. Then reencode your .WAV file from MainConcept into AC3 using BeSweet and the parameters in the guide posted here on doing just that (look at Convert guides to the left). It should be 224/ 2.0 AC3. Import both assets into DVDLab and they will work just fine."Like a knife, he cuts through life, like every day's his last" -- Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
