    I am surprised that with the DVP642 selling so well other companies haven't followed with their own Divx players. I'm especially hoping that DIvx support will come out in a portable player. Anyone got news?

    Hello,
    There's the archos players that play on a harddrive with a 2-3" screen. I don't know if there are any disc based portables that support divx yet. Your best bet would be the archos type players.
