  1. I've tried to author a DVD with DVDMaestro, but unfortunately it doens't support movie-files larger then 2GB. Now I'm searching for a tool to split my m2v-file in two pieces. I tried TMPGEnc's MPEG-Tools, but afterwards DVDMaestro couldn't import the file any more. Does anybody know a (freeware) tool to split my file in 2GB pieces ?

  3. that's strange. if i try to drag the file from the assets-bin to a movie-item dvdmaestro says that this asset is to big. on other internet forums i read that it is because of the file size. i've got dvdmaestro 2.5sp1. is it possible that it supports larger files in a newer version ?

  5. i use it on windows server 2003 with ntfs and it doesn't accept files larger then 2gb. the error message is: "the video asset length is greater than the maximum allowed". so what do i do wrong ? is my version to old (v2.5 SP1) ? or do i have to enable any setting in the software ?

  6. Good, so the OS and the filesystem are OK.

I am using v2.9.2915a - but have no idea about what difference it has comparing to v2.5. Still might be some settings in Maestro - I cannot check it now, as my machine is currently busy with encoding. If I find something, will get back to here
