ok so to break it down simply............

    1. create MDS file for your pdi images.
    2. mount your MDS file in your virtual drive.

    simple huh?

  2. For some other options:

Pinnacle also has a virtual drive product that let you mount it's images. It comes with Instant cd/dvd. I havn't used it (yet). It may be in the download trial. MRBass also has some tools in his guide to go from pdi2iso. Then you could mount with Daemon tools.

    --- Edit ---

I wrote the reply before I read your linked thread with the guide.

    basic steps

    1. create MDS file for .pdi images using dvddecrypter
    2. mount MDS file using your virtual drive.
Was a better description. Probably much faster than downloading the "huge" instand cd/dvd trial.
I mean it in the nicest way.

    lo m8
    thanks for reply

    1. tried pinnacles virtual drive (Instantdrive) and it never worked!!!! that came with instantcopy 8.

    2. my guide was written as an alternative to converting pdi2iso or pdi2files m8......as they are both time consuming and tie up my computer.....where as my method is pretty instantaneous!!!!

    3. yes u can mount ISO's with daemon and the next release of daemon will have the abilty of mounting .pdi images included

i think my method is fast and easy once u have done it once.........although i am informed that it doesn't work with daemontools for the mounting stage only Alcohol 120% so far.

    cheers

  4. I think your method sounds tops.

Unfortunately, I opened my mouth before I read the whole other thread. The second link does require registration.

    Great Tip !

    Thanks
