  1. Hello,

    I have a Sony DRU500 with 2.0f firmware DVD+-RW drive and a Panasonic RP82 dvd player.

My PC is a dual Athlon 1900+ on a MSI Master-L MB with 512MB ram.

I have a lot of pictures that I took with my Canon G2 cam during my last trip and really want to make a simple one level menu vcd that can just pick one day out of 5 to view pics that day. The pics can be up to the 99 limit for each chapter. I have over 500 pics.

The entire compilation goes fine. It burns fine and completes. But the problem is my Panny RP82 just gets stuck at the menu. When I press a selection for a slideshow, it stops the player. I can see the menu but none of the slideshow selections will play. I also included 5 AVI movies that were directly copied from CF cards to MF2. It converted them (to my surprise). When I press PLAY on the DVD player or press a slideshow selection twice, it jumps to track 5 and plays the converted AVIs! Most people here have problems with Canon's AVI format but not slides of still pics! I dont think its my DVD player since WinDVD gets stuck too. It wont play it.

Has anyone came across this problem? I believe my DVD burning is fine and I was able to view on my Panny the VCDImage demo burned on Nero using CD-RW's from Sony.

I tried alternative software but none of them does what MF2 does. Can anyone help?

  2. Have you registered your software?

The problem you've described is unusual.

It should be reported through the official channels.

  3. Yes I have and they asked me to send a sample or a CD to them down south. I was wondering if anyone here had anything like this.

  4. I've not run into the problem you've described, but I'm also using a different setup.

I'm sure you'll get some helpful feedback after you send them the requested items.

    Thanks,
