A couple quick, (presumably) easy questions:
1. If I "add current project" in batch encode, does that add all the properties (e.g. source range, quality)?
2. Does batch encode work with toolame?

Yes and yes. Batch mode will run ALL the settings you choose for the saved project. You can mix resolutions, MPEG1 or MPEG2, etc. So you can choose source range, select 1/2 the movie, new project for the other 1/2; then encode both.
