I am getting a headache from trying to find simple, non command line or non complicated ways to encode my library of video files to H.264 format. The closest I've found is Xvid4PSP, which makes nice encodes with small file sizes. However, I cannot batch encode a bunch of small clips without having to load each one individually and wait for it to analyze/index/bleh. Are there any easy encoders out there that will let me select multiple files, freeware or commercial, and achieve the same kind of quality?

Try WinFF. You should get similar quality as both are based on x264/ffmpeg.
