Hi all, my buddy just gave me his Toshiba SD-2700 to replace the older toshiba that I currently have. But the problem is that whenever I try to play any DVD's (retail, haven't tried and burned ones) I keep getting a "woop" and "pop" sounds during playback. It's quite loud, louder than the actual movie level.
My setup is quite simple, I have RCA's going into a Sony mini-system for the sound. It works perfectly with the older toshiba DVD player (sd-1200 I believe) but just not with the "newer" player.
My buddy thinks it's because I'm going through a mini-system. It worked fine on his system (full surround sound system, HDTV, etc.)
I have "Analoge 2 CH" selected in the setup menu, other than that, I'm clueless.
Thanks!
