  1. I have an internal dvd player in my computer and was wondering if there is software out that will capture from the dvd player. I see that most software capture's from the IEEE fire wire but I cannot seem to find anything that will capture straight from my internal player.

    Thanks

The method getting video from an internal player is called ripping and not capturing!Look for DVDdecrypter or similar tools at the left or www.doo,9.org.You can find guides to to rip anywhere.
Maybe you want something like DVDShrink, which can help you copy a DVD to DVD+/-R/W.
All the SW works the same way:
Copy the data from the VIDEO_TS dir on your DVD (with decrypting, if necessary) to your PC and produce a new VIDEO_TS from this dir - to make the DVD fit to a DVD+-R/W.
You can burn a DVD from this or just watch it.
