No sound problem - internal tv capture card

I have intex internal TV capture card installed on my PC and the recording needs to be done from Tata Sky Set Top Box. I had a few issues earlier but I got them sorted now.

My current problem is when I view any TV program the audio plays totally fine. But when I try to record some program I hear no sound AFTER recording. How to troubleshoot this?! I could only capture the video.

I was browsing through some related topics. I tried connecting 'line out' of the capture card to 'line in' of the pc using the small wire which was enclosed with the purchased box, and connected the speaker to the normal jack I usually connect(in the front) but I hear absolutely no sound. If I connect in that way.

I'm able to hear sound only when the speakers are connected to the line out of the capture device.

BTW, no problem with the sound with all other video files!
