I got a firewire cable (4-pin to 4-pin) for my new Sony TRV 22 about a month ago. It was one from Best Buy, I think 30 dollars or so, but I cant find it on the website to show you. Anyway. i am now having rouble capturing. I am using Adobe Premiere 6.0, but I do not think it is a camera, computer or Adobe problem. It used to capture perfectly, but now when I capture the audio and video both skip and just all together mess up. Is this a cable problem? Any help appreciated, and maybe some advice on a new cable for me?

You may want to capture in DV to another software program, just to rule out the cable. And of course, double check your connections.

Well, I failed to mention this, but my friend has tried the cable on HIS camcorder on HIS computer on Ulead Video 7.0 (I believe) and has aquired the same results.

If your problem is following your cable, looks like you have it narrowed down.
