Just got Pioneer A05 Retail box....gotta few questions

Which software apps would be best to use for the actual burning?

Do I need a firmware update first even though I got the retail version?

Im new to all this, so how do I take street videos that I got from Kazaa and convert them to watchable mpeg2 to put on DVD?

1. Don't upgrade firmware. You're asking for trouble. Wait til you learn more before deciding to take that leap of faith.
2. Nero 5.5.10.20 is good. DVDit! is good.
3. Don't ask about Kazaa here. Against forum rules.
4. Read guides on the left. They are there for newbies like yourself to read. Maybe dig around the forums a bit too.

you can ask about kazaa here some people take it for granted that all files are pirated but they are not.

if you dload stuff from kazaa it will be divx or mpeg, read the convert part of the tools to the left under how to . read up and do searchs on software etc you are thinking about , then ask questions
