Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but I use two computers to rip+encode DVD movies to SVCD/VCD. Sometimes I will just rip the VOB and WAV files with one computer, and encode with the other. I use EAZY VCD (ie. TMPGEnc, DVD2AVI, etc.).
Computer A has an Intel 1.4 P4-M and (integrated) S3 ProSavageDDR, and Computer B has an AMD 2400+ Mobile but unsure about the graphics card (it a TIME laptop). Im not 100% sure, but it seems like when I encode with the AMD that the interlacing lines are more noticeable (ie. dark lines running through the picture, kind of like a VCD movie). Does any of this make sense?
Also, im not sure how related this is, but what the hell is "padding"?
Thanks!
