  1. Ive tried both of these ULEAD products and its weird. I have a DVD-RW, and when i try burning with Movie Factory, my DVD player doesnt read it, but when I burn with workshop my player plays it. Only problem, is in Workshop, it doesnt automatically play the next clip, instead it returns to the main menu. I am burning a whole bunch of music videos, and I would like for them to play one right after the other. Is there something I am missing? When I right click on the clips in the capture screen, its checked to play the next title when done. Can someone give me some insight to this? thanks in advance.

  2. so does anyone have an idea why it returns to the main menu after each video plays, rather than playing the next clip??

  3. I think what you can do is while you're in the "EDIT" mode, the tiltle list at the bottom of your screen has the tiltles in it, which are the music files in your case. Click on each tilte with the "RIGHT" mouse button. Then from the pop up window specify "After Play" and then "Next Tiltle". Repeat this for each tiltle, or music file.

  5. It's possible MF2 doesn't support your burner. I had a problem burning to DVD+R with MF1. The burning engine didn't support it. I downloaded a patch from the Ulead site and now it works fine. Go to their web site and do a search for the cd/dvd burning patch. The site gives a list of burners that are supported by the patch. See if that helps.

  6. no it supports my burner, i can burn dvd-r just fine. when i was done with that project i burnt the same project to a dvd-rw, i didnt get any errors or anything, but when i put it in my dvd player i get an error, of non playable disc. But i know my dvd player plays these RW's cause they work when i burn them with workshop...im kind of confused by this too.

  7. I use MF2 to do VCD. Sound like you already downloaded the latest CD/DVD buring compatibity patch from the ULead web site. Is your RW already full or damdaged?

Also with Ulead MF2 there is a check box somewhere to allow continous play rather then go back to the main menu. I can't remember where it is.

  9. I am having a similar problem with Movie Factory except everything is great with a DVD-R or a DVD+RW but a DVD+R or a DVD-RW won't play in anything. Happened to look into open up the dialogue that says "about the Ulead MMC" and it listed as compatible , the DVD-R, DVD+RW and the CD-R. I have made several good movies with the DVD-R but with the DVD+R I've only managed to make coasters. I believe I'll look into this patch.

  10. scrtagt69,
As jsmanto says the Ulead burning engine doesn't support DVD-RW. This is what I was talking about. Maybe I worded it wrong . Look into the patch and see if it helps.

If you right click the video in the "media" section, when your still editting your video (In DVD Workshop) it gives you an option called "End Playback". It asks you if you want have it continue to the next video clip, or return to the main menu. Try to see if thats clicked.
