Converting Divx to Mpeg using TMPGenc help

Hello, im new to the forums and already have a problem..

How exactly do i do this using this program, im trying to get this Divx file to mpeg in order to cut it into 2 for 2 cd's...

the file is a DivxDVD-Rip

when i try to add the file, it doesnt show up so i go to show all files, select it, then it says select only mpeg files...

You may want to try the Source Range function.

1. Load the AVI file into TMPGEnc'c main window as video input. Name your Output file. Select Load and select the template, then Ok.

2. Select Settings-->Advanced tab-->Source Range. Make sure the slider is at the far left. Select Set start frame. Move the slider to halfway of your video to a good stopping point. Select Set End frame. Select Ok, then Ok.

3. Select Start. The new file should be the first half of your video.

4. Repeat this process, but in step 2, the slider is set at the middle for your Set start frame, and at the end for your Set End frame.
