    Trying to use virtualdub to open an xvid file that i have. when i open the file it says: "couldnt locate decompresor for format "Xvid" (unknown)"
    I have gotten around virtualdub to extract the audio and subtitles, but i'm curious as to why this is happening. Any info would be nice

    hmmm do u have the proper codecs installed?

    ffdshow/xvid codec if u dont
